I think beer tastes nasty, but the song is fun to sing. Maybe I live in a hole or something, but I don't see the correlation between red balloons and beer. Is there a similar song about red balloons?
I voted for red balloons because they're ever so pretty. =)
Bottles of beer for me. I like beer but must consume in moderation these days.
That other song is so chipper and peppy that i like it and tap my toe whenever it comes on the radio. My German is not good enough to follow it all but when I tried to pick out the words, I was surprised to figure out it was not about some happy subject.
MGDitHoT, I did the same thing! Not the same brand, just a Bud Light, but for someone who has maybe 3 beers a year, I felt it was in celebration of this poll indeed!
ohh i see, 99 bottles of beer - 99 red baloons, didn't occur to me untill i actually wrote it down. anyway i went with bottles of beer. never drunk it, can't drink it, don't particularly want to, but i still love the song. 99 red/luft baloons is also quite amazing
I didn't even think of 99 Red Balloons! It's a good song but if I think of balloons on their own, they scare me because there's always one person who has to pop one and make me jump a mile. At least beer won't do that. 99 Bottles of Beer the song is pretty annoying!
the first thing i thought of was 99 red baloons. but for some reason i still didn't make the connection.
a couple months ago i heard a mix of the song on the radio. it started off with the german version and halfway through it changed into the english version. it was a great mix. i couldn't even tell when it switched over.

99 Luftballoons go by...
People used that as a party song in the 1980's.
I wonder if anyone realized it was about World War 3.
Probably not because it was sung in German.
Well beer makes for a better party than war, so beer gets my vote.

Ernest is awesome for introducing a Scrubs clip!
Rob must have had a really busy day because I'm sure he'd have thought of the exact same clip!

I drank some Kirin Ichiban today with my lunch (in a Korean restaurant) in honor of Bottles of Beer.

It was delicious with the Bulgogi. I'm sure I drink more than 3 beers a year but usually I like to drink wine (if it is good).

No, Jeremy. One red balloon is completely inadequate. Thanks, anyway.
