Pumpkins are cute with the little faces or logos on them. Turkey is great to have on Thanksgiving, but I'll give the edge to the pumpkins because in that process no animals were killed. Sorry, Charlie, but it's true.

Carve that turkey! I can carve a pretty creative pumpkin, but you can't eat it afterwards, they rot. I'm all for eating, so bring on the turkey, deep fried preferably!

Mickchick and Randy (fearless leader):

Thanks for getting the Spinal Tap reference yesterday! 1000 bonus points to both of you!

Now on to today:

There is something about carving a turkey that makes one feel special.
Especially when the knife is passed from your dad (or whoever carved the turkey) to you.
It's like a rite of passage.
Ah, Thanksgiving. I'm a big fan of Christmas too, but not everyone celebrates that holiday, so I feel that Thanksgiving has a wider appeal.

Carve a Turkey. Turkey is well beloved at our house. Sometimes while the price is low for Thanksgiving, I buy an extra one to pop in the freezer for later.

Since we're in the final dregs of ToT, it somehow does not bother me that Roland feels empowered to award points previously only meted by Randy and Paul. You go, Roland! Woo Hoo!

I'm so sad to think of losing ToT but, at the same time I am thankful for the short time it has been in my life!

Love to carve pumpkins, even the messy part of taking out the seeds & goop! Roasted pumpkin seeds, yum! Turkey is yummy too, my husband does the carving. Roland, my dad made a big deal passing that carving knife to my husband-it was very sweet!

SWiF- love how you called them drunkins!

Carve a pumpkin, I cannot for the live of me carve any meat products. I can how ever carve pumpkins, even the one's we get in SA. HAd to do it last year for my oldest school project and have to say for a newbie it didn't come out so bad.
