I loved jumping on trampolines when I was a kid, and I would love to do that now. It's good for getting one's emotions out! A zip line would be pure terror for me. It reminds me of a stupid date that was just on the "My Antonio" show.

I've done a trampoline; gets old after a while. But I'd love to do a zip line some day.

Zipline. I used to trampoline until I saw a girl in gym fall off, and her tibia snapped and came through her lower leg!

I think trampolines are more fun for kids than for adults.
Speeding down a zip line can make it feel like you're flying.

Tied at 7 a piece.

I remember being at a family reunion with Christy's family. One of her cousins was telling heart-stopping stories about his experiences driving recklessly fast in just about every vehicular device which can be driven recklessly fast. Later, the conversation drifted to trampolines to which said reckless cousin immediately and emphatically exclaimed, "Man, those things are DANGEROUS!!"

Trampoline. My kids had continuous fun with one.

Zip lines are really fun, too. The problem is where to put them. My kids always wanted one to ride from the second store balcony and drop to the pool. There are several things wrong with that picture for me, not the least of which is the idea of dripping kids walking through the houseand up the stairs to "do that again".

Actually, it is unsupervised trampolines that are dangerous. I made kids follow the safety rules and had 20+ years of trampolining with no problems.

BTW @ mama K -- thanks for the much needed review on the location and names of the bones located in a human's arms and legs.

At first, I was thinking that the tibia was a bone in the arm and was disturbed by the image of an accident so severe that a bone in her arm exited through the skin in her lower leg!! :0

unless you're a kid trampolines get boring real quick. but zip lines are way more fun. i've always wanted to ride one of those ziplines that you strap into a harness and it crosses a canyon. they look awesome. plus ziplining into water is always a blast.

How odd. Today, my class used balloons in Chemistry to learn about Gas Laws. Also, I'm going to camp in two days, and I'm nearly positive that they have a zipline.

Ah...zipline, hands down. They are so much fun. There was one at the camp I went to two years ago. It went down and skimmed across a lake before stopping. The only problem was that the zipline was at the top of this mountain and there was no clear cut path to get to the platform. So, to go "do that again", you had to walk through a forest on a steep, steep hill and climb on loose rocks that felt like they were going to fall over to get there.

Also, has anyone else noticed that the red and blue bars at the top now slide across the screen? Cool!

Yeah, I noticed that too, SWIF. Looks like Randy's getting the place spiffed up just in time to shut 'er down! :-)

I'm glad someone finally mentioned the animated bars. I added those a couple of days ago. There's a new little CSS animation library called "Emile" that I wanted to try out.
