1st/1st!!

If Mike Teevee and Veruca Salt are indicative of 'vermicious knids' then I'd rather deal with a snozzwanger!

Though the author himself hated the original movie because he felt it wasn't dark enough like his novel, I will always love Gene Wilder as Willy Wonka and hold a special place in my heart for that version.

And if I could, I would rescue all the Oompa Loompas just like Mr. Wonka did!

It may not have been as dark as Dahl may have liked, but it was still disturbing!

Appropriately enough, this year the head coach of the Cleveland Browns (who are playing the Lions today) has been compared to Augustus Gloop by a Rolling Stone writer. As a result, the "Man-genius" has been redubbed "Mangustus" in some circles.

LOL @ Rob! "Mangustus's" team is as worthless as Augustus's daughter!

Snozzwangers. Not sure why. Probably like the sound better.

I wonder if there's some way to use ToTers facebook to somehow continue the ToT thing. No, it wouldn't tally votes or link to a cluster map but a topic could be introduced and commented on daily...

@ MGDitHoT. We have a ToT site on FB already. I wonder if we could implement it there somehow.

The word vermicious should be used more often.

Mary Gayle, Mama K, starting the discussions would be easy enough, but the topics themselves will be the real problem. As it's already difficult for Randy and Paul to put up new polls every day, it would probably be too much to ask them to put up a new thread every day. Maybe they could have a thread where they put up all the polls for the week and whoever gets there first on that day can start the new discussion thread. Of course we'll have to use the honor system to ensure that nobody starts discussion on a poll before its designated day, but I have confidence in all of you.

@ Gia. That is a good idea. I have also seen a different version of ToT where the first person on for that day gets to make up the poll for said day. That way there is no responsibility put on anyone!

Yes, there would be no responsibility, but there would also be no way of filtering out dud polls (Speaking from personal experience, I've come up with some pretty stupid ones over the past two and a half year) and it would give some people (like you, Mama K) more power to choose the polls simply because the morning is a good time for them to be on the computer and they get there earlier.
