that's a tough call for me. as long as they are flat waffles, they're right up there with pancakes, but pancakes win in the speed and ease of cleanup department. 1c flour, 1c milk, 1 egg, 1 Tbsp backing powder, other stuff if you want, mix, leave a little lumpy, wait for 5 minutes or so, and make away...
mmm....
best with real butter and Log Cabin syrup in my opinion...
Sorry, Adam. No french toast follow-up this time. I've had a complaint that ToT? hasn't run enough hard-hitting, tough polls lately. I admit, though, that I pondered today's poll for several minutes before deciding. It was tougher for me than most of the other recent ones.

You can make pancake turtles easier than waffle turtles. This bears some weight in my mind. Dang.....I'm getting hungry thanks to that last post.

I remember hearing Jim Lyon talk about filling each waffle hole with butter. That's what I'm talking about.

After this poll, I wasn't at all disappointed when Alison asked if we could have pancakes for dinner. Thanks ThisorThat for changing my life!
