Need I say more?

Man, it jacked up my comment.

Good one to kick things off! Glad to see 'This or That' back! BTW - the 'Submit a comment' text in the button is a bit wonky (right justified, or something). Even if I could fly, it wouldn't fix that!

Adam, I fixed the commenter so it won't jack up any more.
Jeremy, I'll contact you privately to figure out the button formatting problem.
If anyone else finds problems, feel free to contact me personally and I'll fix them. Thanks!

Invisibility is far more useful - there will be days when the weather conditions just won't permit flying.

Invisibility all the way - can you tell I lean toward the introvert portion of the Myers-Briggs test?

Invisibility is where it is at, or is it?

You know, I really thought Flight was going to run away with this one.

I used to have a recurring dream as a child where I was standing at the top of the long flight of stairs in my mother's house I would swan dive off of the landing, down the stairs and just before hitting the bottom, I would do a bank turn and fly around the basement family room just below the ceiling... This was the coolest dream when I was a kid.

This is how I know I am dreaming: Can I fly? If yes, then I'm dreaming. If no, that's gonna hurt.
What does that say about me?

I have to go with invisibility. Fun at parties, etc, and I'm less likely to hurt myself in the process. I can just see me flying happily along until I collide with a 747... I think I'd lose. (now... if you add invincibility to the mix, I'll take flight in a heartbeat :)

who also dreams of flying, but not sure about the practical applications after watching "Heroes"

Flying pros:
1. don't need a car (i break them)
2. people will think i'm cool
3. if it's good enough for the birds, it's good enough for me
cons:
1. the cold at high altitudes
2. probably can't carry much stuff and fly at the same time
3.people will want you to do all sorts of things, like save them all the time (and unless it ends in finding my lifelong lover, it's not worth it)

Invisibility
Pro: 1. Oh the things you could learn
Con:
1. Oh the things you would learn.

Isaac, I thought about the temperature problem. But I decided that even if I'm forced to fly below the treetops, that it would still be more fun to me than being invisible.
And speaking of flying, everyone needs to read at least the first chapter of Astro City: Life in the Big City by Kurt Busiek and company. This book singlehandedly got me interested in superhero comics again. Brilliant stories, and it's quite likely available at your library. (Thanks to Mark Jackson for the recommendation.)

I'd way rather fly- not only would it be fun, but sometimes a better perspective can be gained from an overview at a distance.
Besides, I always tried flying as a kid- I'd tie a blanket around my neck and jump off the porch.

Hey! when we get personal logins, will be be able to pick our own avatar? I like the one you had for me a couple of weeks ago better than my current one! :(

No, I'm afraid not. I saw that photo on flickr yesterday and thought it would make an AWESOME avatar. It totally does!
(Okay, I guess I'll let everyone pick their own avatars.)
